Hello, world! I'm Michael "MJ" Johnson, an artist, songwriter, actress, and above all, a people's person, hailing from the small town of Pompano Beach, Florida, born in 1982. My musical journey began in 2005, inspired by the likes of J-Green and Black Dogg. A pivotal moment came when a friend challenged me to rap after witnessing my mic-checking skills.
Little did I know, that moment would set the stage for my musical career.
Life took a turn in 2004, around the release of 50 Cent's "Go Shawty." Facing challenges, I turned to drawing, a skill that became a source of solace during difficult times. Even through setbacks, music remained my passion, and I found strength in the words of my late brother, becoming the voice of our shared experiences.
A tragic event on April 21, 2007, changed everything. Losing my mother led me to a dark place, causing me to give up on music. It was my brother's words that eched,o urging me to use our collective experiences in my music. After losing him in 2020, I faced yet another setback, but his memory fueled my determination.
In February 2023, I connected with Exit36Entertainment, performing at the Tiger Trail Festival in Pompano Beach. This marked a turning point as I met incredible individuals like Mike Smiff, MikeD954, and Red Dirt, who rekindled my passion for music. Now, with "RealMuzic1000ent," I'm on a journey to fill the gaps and make music a testament to my resilience.
